New British Record for @ascyclingcoach rider

12 hrs and 236 miles later and Susan is still super aero and looking strong

After a year of planning Susan took part in the 2018 British 12 hr Championships and despite some tough conditions produced and outstanding ride covering 236.1miles, finishing fourth fastest female Vet and with her team mates from @ BorntoBikeRT Lynne Biddulph and Katja Riedorf  set a new British team record with a combined distance of 749.421miles.  Despite wet conditions to start, strong head winds and the roughest course in the country, nothing it would seem was going to slow them down and they beat the old record set back in 2004 by 5 miles.

Congratulations to Susan and on her first ever 12 hr TT.  For a rider who’s longest ride had previously been just 106 miles, it just goes to show with the correct training plan leading up to the event and a food, hydration and pacing plan, it is amazing what you can achieve.
