Personalized Coaching:
Initial consultation – undertaken prior to all Performance Plans:
- Agree the athlete’s targets
- Establish training hours based around riders family/work commitments and athletes targets
- Assess athlete’s current fitness level through testing
- Establish athletes training zones using Power or Heart Rate
- Create a Performance Plan for the athlete to achieve their agreed Goals
Competition – Performance Plan
- Athletes personal Premium Training Peaks (TP) account
- Upload and review previous event data were available
- Training reviewed every fortnight against SMART objectives set in the Performance Plan
- Phased training based on above will be uploaded every 2 weeks into TP
- Race analysis, race plans and race reviews using Best Bike Splits
- Phased testing of athlete at key points throughout the season
- Review with coach every two weeks over telephone/skype
- Coach support via email and text throughout the athletes training plan period
Development – Performance Plan
- Athletes personal Premium Training Peaks (TP) account
- Phased personal training plan uploaded monthly into TP account
- Training reviewed every month against SMART objectives set in the Performance Plan
