Personalized Coaching:

Initial consultation – undertaken prior to all coaching plans: 

  • Agree the athlete’s targets
  • Establish training hours based around riders family/work commitments and athletes targets
  • Assess athlete’s current fitness level through testing
  • Establish athletes training zones using Power or Heart Rate
  • Create a Performance Plan for the athlete to achieve their agreed Goals

Gold – Coaching Plan

  • Athletes personal Premium Training Peaks (TP) account
  • Upload and review previous event data were available
  • Training reviewed every week against SMART objectives set in the Performance Plan
  • Phased training based on above will be uploaded every 2 weeks into TP
  • Analysis of specific training routines and race data through TP and WKO4 to review athlete’s optimum performance, strengths and limiters
  • Race analysis, race plans and race reviews using Best Bike Splits and WKO4
  • Phased testing of athlete at key points throughout the season
  • Weekly review with coach over telephone/skype
  • Coach support via email and text throughout the athletes training plan period

Silver- Coaching Plan

  • Athletes personal Premium Training Peaks (TP) account
  • Upload and review previous event data were available
  • Training reviewed every fortnight against SMART objectives set in the Performance Plan
  • Phased training based on above will be uploaded every 2 weeks into TP
  • Race analysis, race plans and race reviews using Best Bike Splits
  • Phased testing of athlete at key points throughout the season
  • Review with coach every two weeks over telephone/skype
  • Coach support via email and text throughout the athletes training plan period

Bronze – Coaching Plan

  • Athletes personal Premium Training Peaks (TP) account
  • Phased personal training plan uploaded monthly into TP account
  • Training reviewed every month against SMART objectives set in the Performance Plan
  • Monthly review with coach over telephone/skype
  • Coach support via email and text throughout the athletes training plan period
