Personalized Coaching:

Initial consultation – undertaken prior to all coaching plans: 

  • Agree the athlete’s targets
  • Establish training hours based around riders family/work commitments and athletes targets
  • Assess athlete’s current fitness level – Ramp or FTP test
  • Establish athletes training zones using Heart Rate and or Power
  • Create a SMART training plan to achieve athlete’s targets

Gold – Coaching Plan

  • Athletes personal Premium Training Peaks (TP) account
  • Upload and review previous event data were available
  • Phased personal training plan uploaded every two weeks into TP account
  • Training data reviewed every week by coach
  • Analysis of specific training routines and race data through TP and WK04 to review athlete’s optimum performance, strengths and limiters
  • Phased testing of athlete at key points throughout the season
  • Weekly review with coach over telephone/skype
  • Coach support via email and text throughout the athletes training plan period

Silver- Coaching Plan

  • Athletes personal Premium Training Peaks (TP) account
  • Upload and review previous event data were available
  • Phased personal training plan uploaded every two weeks into TP account
  • Training data reviewed every two weeks by coach
  • Phased testing of athlete at key points throughout the season
  • Review with coach every two weeks over telephone/skype
  • Coach support via email and text throughout the athletes training plan period

Bronze – Coaching Plan

  • Training data reviewed every two weeks by coach
