It’s good to look back at your last season, race, mesocycle or microcycle and see what worked well and what needs improvement. But don’t let this create boundaries which you feel you cannot cross or success that makes you feel you do not need to try so hard next time. Your current fitness is your key to success in 2018 and what you do in the next 3 months will determine just how far you can go.
Remember cycling is an endurance sport and it’s your aerobic fitness that is most important, so get out there and challenge yourself, be specific and have a plan every time you ride the bike.
