There are times when our training or racing does not go to plan.  But remember ‘You can still ride your bike’.

I have just spent the last 30 mins preparing water bottles and food, pumping up tires and checking power zones before the long Sunday training ride.  But after a fall last week this was not for me as I am grounded with serious pains in my left side.  So I pushed off my wife on a beautiful still morning wishing I could still ride my bike

So the new message on the fridge door this winter will be At Least You Can Still Ride Your Bike to remind me that there is no better feeling, despite the sometimes inclement winter conditions we face or indoor training in the ‘pain cave’ it is better than the forced lay off I am now experiencing.
